Abstract. The scolopendromorph centipede Cryptops hortensis (Donovan, 1810) was found within the area of Kaluga city in two forest habitats and one garden. Specimens were collected from 2007 to 2025. The centipedes were collected using pitfall traps and by hand under the bark of the deadwood.
Funding: part of the data was collected within the framework of the state assignment to Parks Directorate for 2020–2025.
