New Data on Noctuoidea Moths (Lepidoptera, Erebidae, Nolidae, Noctuidae) of Belgorod Region

Abstract

13 species of Noctuoidea from the families Erebidae and Noctuidae are listed for the first time for the Belgorod region: Zanclognatha tarsipennalis, Catocala hymenaea, Athetis gluteosa, A. pallustris, Proxenus lepigone, Chloantha hyperici, Cleoceris scoriacea, Ammoconia caecimacula, Leucania obsoleta, Agrotis cinerea, Diarsia brunnea, Noctua fimbriata and N. janthe. Among them, 4 species are also given for the first time for the Central Black Soil region of Russia: Catocala hymenaea, Chloantha hyperici, Cleoceris scoriacea and Noctua janthe. For 7 species considered rare or previously considered rare (Meganola albula, Acronicta cinerea, Caradrina terrea, Apamea oblonga, Enargia paleacea, Sideridis lampra and Xestia triangulum) we give additional collection material and for most of them we also indicate additional finding places.
