Winter Activity of Lauxaniid Flies (Diptera: Lauxaniidae) in the Vladimir Region

As a result of long-term observations (2001–2026) conducted from October to March in the Vladimir Region, three species of flies from the Lauxaniidae family were recorded that exhibit winter activity. These are Pachycerina pulchra (Loew, 1850), Pachycerina seticornis (Fallén, 1820), and Trigonometopus frontalis (Meigen, 1830). This is the first report of winter findings of T. frontalis.
