New Records of the Alien Mollusk Cornu aspersum (O.F. Müller, 1774) (Gastropoda: Pulmonata: Helicidae) in Crimea

The article describes and illustrates the record of a new colony of the alien mollusk species Cornu aspersum (O.F. Müller, 1774) on the Southern Coast of Crimea (near Yalta). In October 2024, both empty shells and live specimens of various developmental stages were collected in ornamental plantings within the "Mriya" resort. The vector of invasion for this colony is an unintentional import of plants used in the establishment of the garden.
